I feel like I’ve been overlooking the intense work of stylists for years – for each photoshoot he works on, Mobolaji will commission a photographer, cast the models and then scout a perfect location all by himself. The son of a Nigerian fashion designer, Dawodu grew up travelling around the world and feasting his eyes on styles of all cultures and people – this is perhaps why, nowadays he has such a panache for seemingly nonchalant, multi-cultural fashion shoots and portraits.
