Mother and Uber Eats have put together a miniature tasting menu to celebrate the release of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania on Disney+. The “Ant-Man sized” menu is entirely edible, made in collaboration with the food developers The Robin Collective – known for its edible sandcastles and Branston Christmas cracker crackers – and model builders Mattes & Miniatures.

Miniature sushi, fish and chips, burger, salad, gateau and a tiny daal, naan and samosas are among the items available for delivery from 17 May for Uber Eats users in London, Bristol and Manchester. The complete tasting menu costs £5.99; Uber Eats will be donating all proceeds to Make-A-Wish Foundation UK.

A “Quantum Cafe” has also been designed by Dinos Laf, brought to life by Mattes & Miniatures. Milk Machine is the production company on the project, with Justin Hackney directing. A release from Mother explains that 10 recipients will also find a signed Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania movie poster in their delivery.

The taste for scaled-down work continues in the creative industry, with a miniature ‘resurgence’ taking off on Instagram, driven by artists building practices, communities and entire worlds from tiny objects and interiors.
